Neil has been friends with Nigel “Rocky” for nearly 20 years, since playing football and going for the odd pint afterwards. The football has now gone, although the pints remain.

Father of two girls, Neil, tried to enter the Marathon two years ago and never got in – so Nigel had to run it on his own! The only member of the team not to live in Melton Mowbray, has ran a half marathon although it was a long time ago.

Agreed to run this marathon in The Crown pub in Melton Mowbray, which he hopes will be where the team celebrate raising lots of money.
