thanks

Nigel roberts.

I am 41 years old, married to Natasha since 2000. I am the father of James and Oliver. Since 2003 when the boys were born and diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis I have done various things to raise money for and awareness of CF.

It all Started in 2004 when I did the Great North Run. I completed it in 2 hours 8 minutes and raised £7,500. I think at this point I should say I hate running and always have. In 2006 and I applied to run the London marathon with Neil. I got in but he didn’t. I managed to train and run it on my own and finished in 4 hours 40 minutes raising £10,000 through very generous family, friends and local businesses. I said after that I would never do it again!!!

So in November 2006 I had a birthday party for my 40th with donations to the CF Trust instead of presents and raised £2,500. Then in August 2007 Mark set the seeds when he said he wanted to run the marathon with me! So I asked Neil and Alex, and they said yes, so here we are. We have managed to secure 4 golden bond places with the CF Trust.
